BRAMPTON, ON. (July 31, 2008) Beginning Aug. 1, the Peel Heritage Complex (PHC) will offer free admission to all visitors for the month of August.   

The PHC is the perfect place to cool down and explore your cultural side. Bring the family to see the Inuit art exhibition, Arctic Zoo or visit the new exhibition Heritage Complex, as it explores the development of cities and design in urban centres.     

“The Complex is happy to offer free admission so more visitors will have an opportunity to see what we offer,” says Josie Premzell, PHC Development Officer.

The Peel Heritage Complex is operated by the Region of Peel and is located at

9 Wellington St. E. in Brampton.  The Complex is open to the public Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; weekends from noon to 4:30 p.m., closed on Thursdays and Sundays. Please note, we are closed on Monday, Aug. 4.  Admission fees are $2.50 for adults; $1.50 for seniors; $1 for students and $7 for families.

The Peel Heritage Complex is made up of the Region of Peel Museum, the Art Gallery of Peel and the Region of Peel Archives.  Together they collect, preserve and display a variety of materials related to Peel’s heritage.
