Peel Police - Officers Seeking Witnesses to Assault

Mississauga – Investigators from Peel Regional Police’s 21 Division are investigating an assault against an elderly male that took place in the early morning hours of July 17th.

 

On Thursday, July 17, 2008, at approximately 12:15 a.m., police responded to a call for service to the Indian Line Campground, located at 7625 Finch Avenue West, City of Mississauga. Upon arrival officers located an elderly male suffering from serious head injuries.

 

The elderly victim was rushed to hospital, where he is currently listed in critical condition.

 

A 22 year old male was arrested by officers shortly after. Jacob Jeffrey, of Mississauga, has been charged with aggravated assault and is scheduled to appear today before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
