The employees of a Swiss Chalet in north Brampton were locked in a storage room while three men robbed the restaurant of $3,000 in cash Sunday night, Peel police report. The four employees were not injured in the robbery. One of the victims went outside to put a bag in the garbage bin at 9:50 p.m. when a man confronted him with a knife. He was ordered back inside the restaurant, on Hurontario Street south of Conservation Drive, where the employees were locked inside a dry storage room. The robbers took the cash from the manager's office, then ran out through the back door to a waiting vehicle. The robbers were all 17 to 19 years old. Gas station robbery Three men robbed a 25-year-old gas station attendant late Saturday night, Peel police report. Three youths walked into the Esso gas station on Peter Robertson Boulevard at 11:35 p.m. and after one brought some items to the counter, the other two demanded the clerk open the cash register. No weapon was seen, according to police. The victim put the cash box on the counter, the robbers removed some cash and ran out. They were seen with a newer model black Mitsubishi Lancer, according to police.
