Rose for the rich

I read with interest the article on the Rose Theatre indicating that tickets were now available for purchase by the "general public" which confirmed my belief that Brampton's Rose Theatre caters to the wealthy ... those that can afford to become a subscriber. A group of us long time Brampton residents were looking forward to seeing Winter Dance Party in December and when checking the Web, found out that tickets would not be available for purchase by the "general public" until Aug. 5

On Aug. 5, I went onto the Rose Theatre Web site to order tickets only to find that approximately six tickets were available and they were in the very back rows- far sides.

It is very disappointing to learn that the Rose Theatre caters only to the wealthy- not the "general public".
