BRAMPTON - Recently, both Lowe's Home Improvement stores in Brampton participated in the annual Big Bike Event in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The event took place at the Swiss Chalet on Queen Street near Hwy. 410. Participants rode down Queen Street, along Dixie Road, back up Clark Boulevard and across West Drive where they finished back at the restaurant. With two full teams comprising of full- and part-time employees and management, Lowe's stores raised $4,000 combined. This was the stores’ first community event.
