BRAMPTON - Iconic Canadian singer Burton Cummings is coming to Brampton to perform at the Canada Day celebrations in Chinguacousy Park, Tuesday, July 1.
The annual event always attracts a large crowd, especially for the end-of-day fireworks display.
Entrance into the park for the Canada Day celebrations is free. The festivities run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Cummings was the lead singer of the Guess Who from 1966 to 1975. He wrote or co-wrote most of the band’s biggest hits, including These Eyes, Laughing and American Woman.
A Juno Award winner and inductee into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, Cummings embarked on a solo career that started in 1976.
