SENIOR SAFETY SEMINAR: Registration for a new seminar the Hope Drop-in Centre's Silver and Gold Seniors Program. The session will discuss personal safety with a focus on fraud and home security, including easy to take measures to help you feel confident while maintaining an active lifestyle. CHARITY GOLF: Registration for St. Paul's United Church Charity Golf Tournament, Lunch and Auction, to be held Saturday, Aug. 23 at Lionhead Golf and Country Club. NATURE FIELD TRIP: South Peel Naturalists' Club will hold a field trip, to Presqu'ile Provincial Park near Brighton, Ontario. HABITAT FOR HUMANITY: A volunteer information session will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. at 268 Rutherford Rd S., unit 3. We are looking for volunteers to join our committees. We need people with knowledge on real estate issues, residential construction details, loan underwriting, family issues, fund development, community development, energy, green and non-profit law among others.

Volunteers are also needed to help with daily operations of the ReStore. We encourage high school students to earn their community hours working after school or on Saturdays.
